Fractional-Order Modeling and Analysis of Boost ZVS Quasi-Resonant Converter

Based on the fractional-order characteristic of inductors and capacitors, this paper focuses on the fractional order modeling and analysis of boost zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) quasi-resonant converter, aims to extend the Boost ZVS QRC converter from integer-order domain to fractional-order domain. The transient operating analysis, parameter selection of resonant components, device voltage/current stress and the output voltage gain are all studied. And they are all related to the order of fractional-order inductor (FOI) and fractional-order capacitor (FOC). Then, the above theoretical analysis is verified by simulation results on basis of the fractional-order circuit model in Matlab/Simulink, and the order of FOI and FOC provides more flexible and diverse operating features than integer-order case.
