A solar power Air Heater's Performance Evaluation through CFD Method of Artificial Boot form Roughness and Combined with a Reverse Boot Shape in a Circular Duct

The current study is based on the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) approach to assess the effectiveness of the solar-powered air heater and examines the effects of boot-shaped, reverse-shaped, and even combined boot-shaped absorber plates. The inverted boot form generally represents a thorough comprehension of the mechanics underlying heat transmission and utilizes CFD, or computational fluid dynamics, for assessing fluid flow. Moreover, the overall impact of heat transfer and friction factor was detected employing various shapes of observer plate roughness. Furthermore, utilizing our preferred roughness shape, the heat transfer rate and solar air heater thermal efficiency in relation to Reynold's number, Nusselts number, angle of attack, pitch distance, etc. have been examined. It was also found that increased Reynolds number numeric value and Heat transfer is enhanced by maximize the slit-rib pitches over the roughness heights ratio and decreased friction factor.
