A Modeling Method of Input Impedance of Transceiver Within the Transmitting-Receiving System Considering the Influence of the Obstacle

In the transmitting-receiving coupling system, the input impedance at the transmitter side can reflect the system electromagnetic structure information of the primary side and secondary side, and it is the theoretical basis of the non-contact electromagnetic detection method, and can be used to detect the change of defect and corrosion on the receiving side. In practical applications, the transmitting-receiving system is easily affected by the surrounding metal conductor obstacles. It is very important to accurately model the input impedance of transceiver in the transmitting-receiving system considering the influence of the surrounding metal obstacle. In this paper, focus on different metal obstacles in the transmitting-receiving system, a modeling method of the input impedance at transceiver side is proposed. Firstly, the influence of the metal obstacle for the whole electromagnetic coupling system is quantitative analyzed. Then, the circuit topology structures of the whole electromagnetic coupling systems including the metal obstacle is regarded as different RL series circuit models. The lumped components parameters and the corresponding calculation method in the circuit is deduced, the effectiveness and correctness of input impedance modeling is experimentally verified. Finally, the influence of the metal obstacle of different thicknesses and sizes on input impedance phase is studied.
