Circular Patch Clustering based Leach Protocol for Enhancing Lifetime of Wireless Sensor Networks

In the 21st century Wireless sensor networks have played a major role. For data transmission, this advanced technology plays a decisive role in transmission and reception. Tiny sensor nodes transmit large amounts of data from various sections of the system. Acquiring information, such as remote sensing and computing the information of these tiny sensor nodes, are used. Ordinarily, sensor nodes are stocked with tiny batteries of very little energy. Reducing the energy consumption plays a major role. Therefore, in this study, we propose a new version of the I-LEACH protocol to enhance the lifetime of Wireless sensor nodes. Across all combinations, our I-LEACH consistently outperformed other protocols, including classical LEACH.
