Simulation and Functional Parameters Examination of Tristate Parallel Connected DC-DC Step-up Converter

In this study, the design, development and functional parameters analysis of a new reduced ripple Tristate Parallel Connected Boost Converter (TPCBC) is proposed. The interleaving and tristating of converters lower the amount of ripple content. The suggested converter simulation study is done using MATLAB/SIMULINK. This converter topology's performance is evaluated and compared to that of the classical step up and parallel connected converter. TPCBC prototype developed in order to verify the simulation's findings. Moreover, a part count model is investigated to compute the Mean time To Failure (MTTF) that provides lifetime of projected converter.
