Optimized Control of Squirrel cage Induction Motor with Advanced SCADA Integration

The use of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems in squirrel cage induction motor control and monitoring is introduced in this research as a novel approach. Industrial applications frequently employ squirrel cage induction motors because of their simplicity, reliability, and robustness. The proposed system utilizes SCADA capabilities to improve the efficiency and reliability of induction motor operations through real-time monitoring, data collecting, and control features. With SCADA integration, important parameters like voltages V1N, V2N, and V3N, average line-to-neutral voltages V12, V23, and V31, average line-to-line currents I1, current I2, and current I3, KW1, KW2, and KW3, KVAR1, KVAR2, and KVAR3, KVA1, KVA2, and KVA3, power factor1, power factor2, and power factor3, frequency, harmonic distortion, and motor running hours can be continuously monitored, allowing for predictive maintenance and early detection of anomalies. The technology maximizes motor performance while decreasing energy consumption and downtime through the use of control algorithms.
