Research on Image Encryption Algorithm Based on Dual Chaos and Bit Planes

Aiming at the problems of weak key sensitivity and strong pixel correlation of adjacent pixels in image encryption schemes, This paper constructs an image encryption scheme incorporating a four-dimensional chaotic system and Logistic mapping. The algorithm calculates the initial values of the four-dimensional chaotic system and the Logistic mapping by combining the image content and the current time through the hash algorithm, and performs a preliminary point disarray operation on the image utilizes the produced chaotic sequence. Then, the disarrayed image is divided into bit planes, and the disarray and diffusion processes are carried out on the high 4-bit plane and the low 4-bit plane respectively, and ultimately the encrypted image is produced. On the MATLAB platform, through the histogram analysis, information entropy calculation, adjacent pixel correlation test, key sensitivity assessment and anti-noise performance verification and other means of security analysis, the experimental results show that the algorithm is able to achieve highly efficient image encryption with high key sensitivity and anti-attack ability, and is able to effectively deal with external interference.
