Research on Lifecycle Cost-Benefit Model of User-Side Energy Storage Stations

With the continuous optimization of peak-valley price mechanisms and the strengthening of policy support, user- side energy storage, as a critical component of the new electricity system, demonstrates significant development potential and application value. Consequently, research on the economic viability of user-side energy storage holds substantial practical significance. this paper introduces a lifecycle investment cost revenue model specifically designed for user-side energy storage, systematically addressing existing issues in current models, such as incomplete cost-benefit accounting and insufficient parameter refinement. This model comprehensively incorporates all cost aspects, spanning from initial planning and design to the final disposal of the station, while systematically analyzing multiple revenue sources for user-side energy storage. This approach effectively reduces model deviations caused by incomplete accounting dimensions. Additionally, by introducing a classification framework for fixed and dynamic costs, the study provides a refined analysis of the construction and operational costs of energy storage stations, offering a more scientific evaluation tool and decision-making basis for user-side energy storage project investments.
