Underwater Visible Optical Wireless Broadcasting Communications Enabled by Beam-Steering Liquid Crystal Metasurface

Assisted by a liquid crystal metasurface enabling $3 \times 3$ beam-steering with $3^{\circ} \times 3^{\circ}$ field-of-view, $2.7-\mathrm{Gb} / \mathrm{s}$ OOK point-to-multi-point low-cost and high-efficiency optical wireless communication over 2.5 -meter water tank at $532-\mathrm{nm}$ is successfully demonstrated employing only linear equalization.
