Large-scale calibration-free Mach–Zehnder networks

We propose a calibration-free MZI and demonstrate its large-scale scalability with a 64 $\times 64$ MZI. This robust methodology for suppressing random phase imbalance can be generalized for any essential phase-sensitive photonic integrated devices.
