Real-Time 204Tb/s Mode/Wavelength Division Multiplexing Free-Space Optical Communication Enabled by 800G C6T+L6T-band Transponder

Record net $204 \mathrm{~Tb} / \mathrm{s}$ ($850 \mathrm{~Gb} / \mathrm{s} / \lambda \times 80 \lambda \times 3$ mode) real-time optical wireless connectivity over 1.6 m free-space link is experimentally achieved, enabled by C6T+L6T-band 800G transponder and MIMO-free 3-mode MUX/DeMUX.
