Performances of Cost-Effective 50G ONU with Analog FFE and HI-FEC

We propose a cost-effective 50G ONU reception scheme leveraging analog FFE and Hard-Input-FEC, achieving +3.8 dB of coding gain with analog FFE. This implementation reduces costs at ONUs compared to regular SI-FEC+DSP ones.
