Optimization of Gain Profile of Super-C band EDFA using Neural Network and Simplified Physical Models

Neural network models of EDFA work well in gain prediction but usually have limited access to amplifier’s control parameters. Leveraging physical model can help in the fine-tuning and optimization of EDFA’s operating point.
