Colorless Detection of a 3.2-Tb/s-Class WDM Superchannel Aiming for Uncooled Coherent Optics

We propose a colorless detection for WDM signals with neither laser wavelength control nor demultiplexers using a comb as local oscillator and demonstrate a single-shot reception of 407.2- GHz (3.35-Tb/s) superchannel with >1-THz tolerance on laser frequency drift.
