Toward In-Fiber Integrated Optical Signal Control

Femtosecond (fs) laser inscription is beneficial in terms of integrating multiple functions within an optical fiber. Design basis and bandwidth controllability of a fs laser inscribed wavelength selective add/drop circuit are investigated.
