A Method for Selecting the Wiring Direction from Terminals using a Planar Graph Drawing Method

In the design of printed circuit boards and integrated circuits, the problem of determining the appropriate wiring direction from pins is addressed by the more complex and difficult problem of "Place and Route Puzzle." We propose a method that can always find a solution. In this method, we convert the Place and Route Puzzle into a graph, divide it into 3-vertex-connected components, and then apply a known planar drawing method to each connected component to find a solution.
