Advanced Resource Allocation Techniques for Efficient Cloud Computing

This work presents a comprehensive review on allocation of various IT resources in Cloud environment. The allocation of resources focuses on fairness, efficiency, and scalability. Resource allocation means process of assigning and managing cloud IT resources to optimize resource utilization. Different challenges are faced in the resource allocation like security, cost management, resource hack, complexity and lack of control and visibility. These challenges need to be tackled to optimize resource utilization, minimize energy consumption, and maximize profit while ensuring reliable service delivery. The best practices for resource allocation are implementing auto scaling of resources on demand, to maintain a clear resource allocation policy and monitor and optimize resource utilization. The results demonstrate significant improvements in resource allocation efficiency, scalability, and fairness, providing valuable insights for cloud service providers to enhance their competitiveness.
