A Conditional Privacy Protection Scheme for IoV Based on Blockchain

The Internet of Vehicles (IoV) facilitates intelligent traffic management and enhances transportation efficiency. However, the openness and linearity of the system increase the risk of threats such as information theft, tampering, and privacy leakage. The proposed solution to this problem is a novel conditional privacy protection scheme based on ring signeryption, which makes full use of the advantageous properties of anonymity, spontaneity, flexibility, and equality of members of ring signature. The scheme effectively realises conditional privacy protection based on cryptosystems of identity and T-structure ring signature. In this paper, we propose a blockchain-based groupable ring signcryption as a solution to the issue of securely forwarding to multiple recipients. Concurrently, in order to address the issue of selfish and malicious behaviour exhibited by vehicles, a proposed incentive mechanism is presented. This mechanism is designed to incentivise vehicles in accordance with the validity, scarcity, accuracy, importance, and completeness of road information, with the capability to track malicious vehicles when necessary. Through performance analysis, the advantages of the proposed scheme over most existing ones are demonstrated.
