Intelligent Control System for Campus Street Lighting Based on Microcontroller

This paper focuses on the research and design of street light intelligent control system for solar street light characteristics and campus street light use law, the system uses STC89C52 as the controller, by the liquid crystal display module, solar panel charging module, light detection module, lighting module, clock module and key module. By detecting the light intensity to control the battery charging and discharging to supply lighting, while according to the control system set the time to adaptively adjust the lighting brightness, low light hours or night time to open the ordinary lighting, when entering the set late at night by the sensor to detect whether the pedestrian passes through, no pedestrians pass through the light brightness is reduced, there are pedestrians pass through the light when the light is adjusted. This system realizes intelligent service of campus solar street light, integrates photovoltaic power generation lighting and lighting adaptive function, improves the service life of street light while saving energy, and effectively improves campus safety by controlling campus solar street light in time.
