Research on runtime verification technology and application of PLC based on LTLF

PLC safety plays an extremely important role in the industrial control system. The traditional PLC safety defense verification method is mainly used in the system modeling stage, and the safety protection means in the PLC operation stage are still relatively lacking. Aiming at the problem of weak security defense capability in PLC operation, this paper proposes a dynamic verification technology of PLC running time based on (Linear Temporal Logic on Finite Traces) LTLf, including a specification description language, supporting dynamic verification system and related prototype tools, as well as the analysis and discussion of experiment and experimental results. Specifically, according to the characteristics of PLC system, a PLTLf (PLC-Linear Temporal Logic on Finite Traces) specification formula suitable for dynamic verification of PLC running time is proposed, its syntax and semantics are introduced, and a concrete example of application specification formula is given. This paper introduces the implementation details of the runtime dynamic verification system, including specification formula translation, system implementation, and system operation mechanism. Based on the experimental data analysis, the resource occupancy and detection efficiency of the runtime verification system are discussed, and the feasibility and effectiveness of the method are proved.
