AI-Driven Intelligent Career Mapping and Skill-based Job Role Predicting Career Guidance System

Finding the best career path is quite a tough nut to crack in this modern era. Traditional career counselling tools do not often provide enough personalized advice for someone based on their skills, desires, and dreams. This research proposes a machine learning-based Career Guidance System that predicts the top three relevant career paths for the users based on their skill set and career field. This structured dataset includes career fields, job roles, and required skill sets, and our system provides accurate recommendations using the LightGBM gradient-boosting algorithm. The system also has a roadmap generation that will guide users through the necessary actions to reach their career goals. A task completion system helps the learners stay on track while learning. Our proposed system takes traditional career counselling to the next level by utilizing machine learning techniques to offer personalized, data-driven (big data) career advice. It uses algorithmic techniques to parse structured data in repeated analyses, identifying trends and relationships between job fields and working opportunities. Not only does this create personalised career paths for individuals, but it also encourages greater engagement in the career planning process and builds a sense of ownership.
