Zeros of discrete-time linear periodic systems

In this note the concept of zero for linear discrete-time SISO periodic systems is discussed. The definition is based on a time-invariant MIMO equivalent representation. An input-output characterization of the zeros is provided which extends a well-known property for time-invariant systems.
