Numerical Model and Simulation of Metal Wire Electric Explosion Used in Solid Electric Propulsion

The electrical explosion of metallic wires holds significant potential for development in solid electric propulsion. Its regulation requires research on circuit current and terminal voltage through circuit modeling and numerical simulation. This paper enhances the calculation accuracy of important parameters such as voltage waveform by incorporating the temperature-dependent specific heat capacity and conductivity functions of aluminum into the solution process for RLC circuit currents.
