Progress of Intelligent Bionic Hand Based on Myoelectric Pattern Recognition

The intelligent bionic hand uses EMG to control the manipulator instead of the human hand to realize the basic functions of it. At the same time, the haptic perception technology is applied to realize the communication with the external environment, which has important practical significance for improving the quality of life of patients with upper limb disability. Taking typical research results as examples, this paper systematically introduces the progress of bionic hand structure design; The advantages and disadvantages of bionic hand driving form and driving mode are compared from many dimensions. The EMG model pattern recognition system is summarized, the specific recognition features and classification algorithms are listed, and the experimental results of some studies are compared. This paper briefly introduces the tactile sensing technology and analyzes and compares the advantages and disadvantages of different tactile feedback methods. Finally, the problems and challenges that the intelligent bionic hand may face in the future are explored, and the important directions of future research are analyzed.
