Research on Photovoltaic MPPT Control Method Based on Interleaved High-Gain Boost Circuit

With the wide application of photovoltaic circuits, the optimal power control function of photovoltaic becomes increasingly prominent. Boost circuit is commonly employed in photovoltaic circuit systems. Owing to the issue of large input current ripple in Boost circuit, there exists a greater power fluctuation when it stabilizes near the maximum power point. The interleaved high-gain Boost circuit is extensively utilized in practical applications due to its large voltage amplification factor and stable input current. To further explore the application of high-gain parallel boost circuit in maximum power point tracking(MPPT), an MPPT algorithm combining the variable conductance increment method with the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm is proposed, and the advantages of the staggered high-gain boost circuit in MPPT are also investigated. The simulation framework was developed and implemented. The results show that, compared with the traditional circuit structure and algorithm, the PV circuit system structure and MPPT algorithm proposed in this thesis have a faster MPPT speed and better system robustness.
