A Dynamic Pricing Model Incorporating Renewable Energy Station Out-put Forecast Deviation and Shared Energy Storage State of Charge

With the progression of electricity market reforms, the position of energy storage as an independent role participating in the power market has become increasingly defined. To address the diminishing incentives of energy storage development under traditional fixed-price trading models, this paper proposes a collaboratively dynamic price mechanism between shared energy storage system(SESS) and renewable energy stations(RES) by considering renewable energy output forecast deviations and SESS resource availability levels. Drawing on the fundamental framework of SESS, this study systematically delineates the operational modes among SESS, RES, and the power grid. Then, a leader-follower game model is constructed considering interactive trading mechanisms among multiple entities, with SESS as leaders and RES as followers. This research also proposes a dynamic pricing mechanism that incorporates both the supply-demand ratio (SDR) of RES and the State of Charge (SOC) of SESS, aiming to coordinate the benefit requirements between SESS and RES. Finally, the functional performance of this proposed dynamic pricing mechanism is validated through practical operational data from an actual power grid in China. The simulation results clearly demonstrate that compared with traditional bargaining schemes, the proposed dynamic pricing model can improve the financial performance of SESS and further improve the energy storage utilization rates.
