Marginal Moment Generating function-based detection performance analysis over Generalized-K distributed fading channel

The accurate modelling of wireless communication channel requires consideration of both multipath fading as well as shadowing. Therefore, analysis over composite fading models is vital. Further, the complex integral form of analytical expressions for higher order analysis is quite incommodious. The Moment generating function (MGF) based or Laplace transform based expressions provide simplification of such expressions. We calculated the probability-of-detection expression in this paper using energy detector over Generalized-K distributed fading channel. The mathematical expression for probability-of-detection has been provided in unified form using "marginal moment generating function (MMGF)" and the performance is simulated using receiver operating characteristics (ROC) curve.
