Decentralization of large-scale systems: A new canonical form for linear multivariable systems

This note presents a new canonical form for linear multivariable systems. This canonical form casts and partitions the system to the so-called component connection model (CCM). The application of this canonical form to the problem of decentralized stabilization and estimation is discussed.
