Data Cloaking: Integrating AES Encryption and Steganography With Diffi-Hellman Key Exchange For Secure Data Sharing Within Multimedia

The exponential growth of data exchange raises the level of concern about communication security in multimedia systems. It is an evolution of an advanced framework for the secure sharing of data, where AES encryption and steganography are used together with the Diffie-Hellman key exchange protocol. In this proposed solution, these methods integrate to ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and security during the multimedia data transmission. The framework includes five phases of key generation, encryption, embedding data, transmission, and decryption. Diffie-Hellman in key generation produces a shared secret key between communicating parties in a secure manner. AES encryption helps in transforming the plaintext data into ciphertext to ensure secrecy of the data. In the steganography phase, the encrypted data is embedded in multimedia files, such as images and audio, without altering their appearance or quality. It shows significant superiority over conventional methods because it combines cryptographic strength with steganographic secrecy, providing a scalable and secure means of data sharing. This integration ensures that multimedia communication preserves its confidentiality, security, and resilience against unauthorized access in the current interconnected digital environment.
