Automated Room Lighting System using IR Sensors

In today’s world, there is always a constant requirement for automatic machines. As living standards have gone up, it is necessary to construct a circuit that will change the complexity of life into simplicity. Automated room lights controller is one such automation. Automated room lights controller can be introduced in which the room lights will turn on consequently upon discovery of human movement and will remain turned on until the movement stops or the individual has cleared out the room. This innovative design can be used in places like bathrooms, classrooms, staircases, garages, and any other places where lighting is necessary when people are present. The main purpose of this project is to have an accurate count of the number of people entering offices, retail centers, sports arenas, and auditorium halls. Circuit design, Arduino programming and a rigorous test under variable condition for high accuracy, robustness, and reliability, so that the system would do whatever it is supposed to under all conditions. Extra modifications such as manual option that can be set, or how long the delay could be are usually included in the same programming with customization and even update. It turns on the lights every time when there is movement and automatically shuts them off when no movement is observed. Hence this design or model is more effective in saving energy.
