Wave Optics Lab with Numerical Simulations on Comsol Multiphysics: Study of Fresnel Coefficients

We integrated finite-element-based numerical simulations using COMSOL Multiphysics into the Wave Optics Lab alongside conventional experiments. Student feedback was positive, and improvements in learning and motivation were observed. We present a sample experiment on Fresnel equations and interference to demonstrate how optics learning can extend beyond the capabilities of a typical lab.
