Blood Pressure Monitor From GSM to STM32

Automatic blood pressure monitors are becoming an integral part of the lives of people who monitor their health and are the most popular among such devices. They allow you to measure blood pressure and heart rate without significant effort on the part of the user. Currently, wireless technology and Internet of Things systems are being actively integrated into medical devices and blood pressure monitors. There are tonometer models that can transfer data to a network for remote monitoring by a doctor or analysis in medical applications. The availability of remote monitoring of measurement results provides an opportunity for medical professionals to respond in a timely manner to changes in the patient's condition and adjust the treatment plan, and for users it is a convenient way to monitor health indicators. In this work, a comparative analysis of technologies for wireless data transmission suitable for integration into a blood pressure monitor was carried out and a circuit was developed. The measurement results are displayed on the local display unit and stored on the SD card. Data is sent via GSM module. The PIC24 family was chosen as the microcontroller. The main advantage of the developed tonometer is the ability to transmit data over a long distance. Tests of the prototype have confirmed its operability. Such a device can be used for remote diagnosis and monitoring of the patient's condition.
