Adaptive Control Technology for Shaft Alignment of Ship Propulsion Systems

This paper addresses the challenge of controlling the shaft alignment of the propulsion system under elastic mounting conditions of ships[1] [2]. It conducts research on real-time monitoring technology based on spatial matrix transformation and multi-channel cross-decoupling control algorithm based on the steepest descent method for multiple target parameters. Based on the rigid body assumption and spatial geometric mapping relationship, using spatial coordinate transformation relationship, the alignment parameters of the rotating shaft system that are difficult to measure are converted to the easily measurable foot displacement, achieving real-time monitoring of the alignment state of the rotating shaft system. Taking the alignment attitude change parameters of the shaft system as the control target, this paper proposes a multi-channel cross-decoupling control algorithm for multiple target parameters, achieving decoupling of vibration displacement between control channels and coordinated control between target parameters. The feasibility of the control algorithm is verified through experimental testing.
