Research on Sky Light Simulation Algorithms for Aircraft Cockpit Light Design

A study was conducted on the sky light simulation algorithms. According to the analysis of the requirements for the sky light simulation algorithm, it's clear that the goal of the sky light simulation algorithm system is to convert actual sky light distribution data into the sky light environment simulation system device, and conduct experiments related to sky light environment simulation. Firstly, the simulation algorithm for sky luminance distribution was analyzed, and a more practical algorithm for sky relative luminance distribution was obtained. Secondly, the sky light absolute zenith luminance algorithm was summarized, which was used to calculate the absolute value of sky luminance. Thirdly, the simulation algorithm for sky light color temperature distribution were summarized based on existing research. Finally, the comprehensive design of sky light simulation algorithms was completed to form a practical algorithm system which could achieve full scenes sky light environment simulation.
