Data Mining Approach for Emotional Regulation and Social Adjustment Among Adolescents

The goal is to examine teenage emotional regulation and social adjustment using sentiment analysis. Adolescent emotional control affects social relationships and well-being. Sentiment analysis helps identify trends and insights in social media messages and diary entries. The goal is to discover emotional states and sentiment patterns that correspond with social adjustment. The mood exhibited in teenagers' written material might reveal their mental health and social behaviour. Creating a framework to forecast emotional regulation disorders and social adjustment concerns is the objective. This strategy may improve teenage emotional and social well-being via treatments and support networks. Positive adolescent development practices may improve from the findings. The experimental group has a 14.2% mean difference in emotional regulation, whereas the control group has 0.3. About social adjustment in experimental group, the overall difference in mean percentage is 3.4 whereas in control group is only 0.5. It indicates that the level of emotional regulation and social adjustment is improved by the life skill training program among adolescents. Positive relationships are found between emotional regulation and social adjustment. The occupation of father and mother and the type of family has got association with the level of emotional regulation in the experimental group and the age of adolescents got association in the control group.
