Research on the Relationship Between User Prediction and Electronic Map Interface Design Based on Situational Awareness

Current studies have shown that there is a strong correlation between situational awareness and electronic map interface design. Especially under low situational awareness condition, interface design schemes can affect user prediction performance. This study is based on actual design needs and adopted an ergonomic experiment to examine the impact of different electronic map interface design schemes on users' predictions under high, medium, and low levels of situational awareness, using operational time and correct rate as indicators. The results show that in the three cases, the enhancement scheme design is superior to the original scheme, which proves that the enhancement design of the electronic map interface can improve the user's operational performance, and the results can support the objective data basis for the optimization of the visual design of the electronic map interface.
