Preliminary Exploration of Human-AI Collaboration for Enhancing Learning in Digital Business Education

In the digital era, the interplay between human intelligence and artificial intelligence in education is becoming increasingly significant. This preliminary exploratory study investigates how AI tools enhance learning outcomes by examining the reflective engagements of master's level students in a digital business course. Employing a qualitative research design, the study highlights specific AI tools such as AI Image Creator, ChatGPT, and SciSpace that significantly deepen comprehension and foster critical engagement with course content. Despite their benefits such as stimulating curiosity, encouraging creativity, and facilitating research, challenges related to the accuracy of AI-generated content and the need for rigorous scrutiny were identified. To address the challenge, we propose strategies, including the integration of AI literacy within curricula and the promotion of ethical AI usage. Ultimately, this paper advocates for an AI-enhanced learning paradigm that incorporates AI as a collaborative tool while ensuring critical human oversight. Due to the limited sample size, these findings are exploratory and should be interpreted with caution.
