Design Research on Multi-Sensory Simulation Cockpits Based on the Kano Model for Six-Degree-of-Freedom Platforms

To address the current market issues of simulation cockpits having limited design and functionality that do not meet user needs, this article first collects data through questionnaire surveys. By analyzing the data, the initial user needs are identified, and different satisfaction demand indicators are summarized to derive prioritized user requirements. Ultimately, through the three types of needs identified in the KANO model and their associated product functions, a design practice for the six-degree-of-freedom multi-sensory simulation cockpit is conducted. This provides new ideas and methods for the innovation and improvement of multi-sensory simulation cockpits.
