Fast Responsive Multi-Round Multi-Objective Adaptive Integrated Design Based on User Preset Performance

Multidisciplinary Design Optimization (MDO) plays a critical role in the design of complex systems, where the integration of multiple disciplinary inputs is essential. Traditional MDO methods often struggle with balancing competing objectives and reducing reliance on designer experience, leading to suboptimal solutions. To address these challenges, we propose the Multi-round Multi-objective Adaptive Integrated Design (MMAID) strategy. Through a case study involving unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) design, we demonstrate that MMAID achieves superior performance compared to traditional multistage optimization and weighted sum optimization methods. The results show a significant reduction in the Euclidean distance between the optimized outcomes and the user's preset performance, indicating a closer alignment with expected performance. MMAID provides a flexible and adaptive approach to MDO, offering a robust solution for complex system design in dynamic and evolving environments.
