Working State Simulation, Weakness Analysis and Life Estimation of the Aerospace Ultrasonic Motor

For the advantage of no magnetic interference and self-locking function, ultrasonic motors are widely utilized in aerospace. The ultrasonic motors experiences various stresses during their life cycle. To ensure the safety and reliability of the ultrasonic motor in orbit, the digital model of ultrasonic motor is established in this paper. Then, the life evaluation based on vibration, temperature and working stress simulation is carried out and the weakness of ultrasonic motor is obtained. At last, the damage evolution and mechanism analysis is carried out and the life is calculated.
