Design of BLDC Driver Circuit Based on Inductive FOC

This paper presents a self-designed method for a dual-motor BLDC (Brushless Direct Current) driver based on Field-Oriented Control (FOC). It systematically addresses the limitations of the open-source ODrive driver, which include uneven hardware resource allocation leading to constrained dual-motor control performance, insufficient accuracy of high-speed domain observers, and poor scalability of communication interfaces. The aim is to design an efficient and stable dual-motor driver for brushless DC motors. This research provides a reliable hardware implementation solution for multi-axis precision control in fields such as industrial robotics and CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machine tools.
