Automated Water Tank Cleaning and Purification System for Large-Scale Storage Facilities

Safe drinking water is of paramount importance for public health, especially in large storage systems. This project proposes an efficient water tank cleaning and purification system for a 60, OOO-liter central tank, featuring a mechanized scrubbing unit with a Geneva mechanism for thorough cleaning of curved and lateral surfaces. High-pressure water jets and a swivel joint mechanism remove contaminants, while an automated flushing process ensures complete debris removal. After cleaning, a reverse osmosis (RO) unit purifies water for direct drinking. IoT real-time monitoring keeps an eye on critical water quality parameters like chlorine, and an automated dosing system ensures safe disinfection. A central dashboard offers remote control and data visualization, boosting system efficiency and maintenance. This automated and intelligent method of cleaning and purifying water tanks greatly improves hygiene, minimizes manual intervention and reduces the risk of waterborne diseases. It ensures a continuous supply of clean drinking water, supporting sustainable water management and community health.
