Augmented Reality Based Therapy App for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder

This paper introduces an innovative and sophisticated Augmented Reality application for use in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis support therapy. The idea of using AR's innovative competence features to offer customised environments involving and interesting to the kids will be helpful in promoting their development of social, communication, and adaptive skills. Through the use of the SCERTS framework and adaptive learning features, the system tailors tasks according to individual performance, both in terms of usability and therapeutic impact. Preliminary feedback from therapists and parents shows enhanced interaction and visible behavioural growth. Future developments involve increasing environment variety, incorporating machine learning for dynamic adaptation, and facilitating greater accessibility through multilingual and wearable device support.
