Encryption and Decryption Based on Combination of Logistic and Henon Map for Medical Images

This paper presents image encryption scheme using the sequence generated by combination of Logistic and Henon maps. Further the generated combined key sequence is applied to encrypt the image. MATLAB software is used in this work to study the performance of the proposed scheme. The parameters such as Histogram, Correlation, Number of Pixel Change Rate (NPCR), Unified Average Changing Intensity (UACI), and Entropy are used to evaluate the performance. The results exhibit that the proposed encryption system is secure, robust and flexible. The entropy obtained is 7.9975 which is close to its ideal value of 8 and an NPCR of 99.66%, close to its ideal value.
