Analysis for Generalized of Viscoelastic Fluid with Shear-Thickening Fluids

Non-Newtonian fluids, particularly viscoelastic fluids with rheopectic and shear-thickening behaviors, exhibit complex dynamics influenced by shear rate and time. Rheopectic fluids display a time-dependent viscosity increase under constant shear stress, while shear-thickening fluids respond with viscosity increases at higher shear rates. This study develops and validates advanced mathematical models using COMSOL Multiphysics and Python to simulate these unique behaviors. By modifying the Navier-Stokes equations to account for non-linear, time- and shear-dependent viscosities, the models accurately predict flow behavior under varying conditions. Key findings reveal significant differences in viscosity trends, pressure distribution, and velocity profiles between the two fluid types. These results provide critical insights into optimizing fluid transport processes and designing advanced materials with tailored rheological properties, benefiting fields such as engineering, materials science, and biomedical applications.
