Acoustic Sensor Array Positioning System Based on SCOT/PHAT Weighted Cubic Cross-Correlation Algorithm

The array signal processing technology provides support for the localization of the sound source, obtains the sound signal through the acoustic sensor array, and determines the position of the sound source through the sound source positioning algorithm. However, in complex environments such as confined spaces, where noise and reverberation interference are large, and the positioning error of traditional algorithms is large, it is a major challenge to achieve efficient, real-time, and accurate sound source positioning. In this paper, on the basis of the cross-correlation delay estimation algorithm, the three-dimensional cross-correlation is carried out, the weighted function is optimized into SCOT/PHAT, and the generalized cubic cross-correlation algorithm based on SCOT/PHAT weighting is improved, and the three-dimensional seven-element acoustic sensor array structure is built for position solving. Comparative experiments show that the improved positioning system can effectively complete the localization of sound sources, and the positioning error is smaller.
