Optimization of Main Pump Speed Acquisition in Nuclear Power Plants Based on Magnetoresistive Sensors

The main pump reluctance speed sensor is an important sensor for the primary circuit of the nuclear power plant reactor. The accurate measurement of the speed signal directly affects the safe and stable operation of the reactor. According to the current application of the reluctance sensor in the reactor, the speed signal measurement method is optimized and designed. For the wide frequency range and wide amplitude range signal of the main pump speed signal, the speed signal is refined by adopting Kalman filtering and dynamic threshold strategy. The optimization scheme is verified by simulating the speed signal. Through theoretical analysis and simulation verification, the optimized scheme not only significantly broadens the recognition range of the speed signal, but also greatly improves the accuracy of frequency recognition. This improvement not only enhances the reliability of the reactor primary circuit system, but also provides a more solid guarantee for the safe operation of the nuclear power plant.
