Switched and Fixed Relay Selection Strategies for Dynamic Wireless MIMO Networks

In this paper, we explore advanced relay selection strategies in multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) wireless networks, with a focus on fixed and switched relay selection techniques. The objective is to enhance communication reliability and network performance by optimizing relay selection, thus leveraging spatial diversity to mitigate signal fading and interference. By employing both analytical models and simulationbased approaches, we demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed relay selection schemes in various MIMO scenarios. Our results indicate significant improvements in system throughput, error rates, and overall network efficiency, highlighting the potential of these techniques for future wireless communication systems. These findings provide a foundation for further research and development in relay-assisted MIMO networks, paving the way for more robust and efficient wireless communication infrastructures.
