Design of Multi-Voltage Tuneable Dynamic Dual-Tail Comparator with Leakage Detection System

In modern electronics, analog to digital converters are highly significant since they make possible the conversion of analog signals into digital data. The comparator is one of the critical elements that affect an ADC's performance speed, precision, and power efficiency are significantly influenced. This paper deals with the problems of speed, power consumption, and resilience by proposing a dynamic, multi-voltage tuneable dual-tail comparator developed in 65 nm CMOS technology. Because of its dynamic voltage flexibility, the comparator can get to its maximum performance for a wide range of application needs. Integration of a circuit in a system for leakage detection and power recycling would reduce residual power dissipation while improving energy efficiency. Simulations yield remarkable results such as a 46.5 ps delay with a 1.1 V supply and a 1 mV input difference. This is a novel design through which next-generation energy-efficient mixed-signal circuits are possible. It is ideal for high-performance, energy-sensitive applications including biomedical instruments, telecommunication, and Internet of Things systems.
