A Novel Chaotic Image Encryption Algorithm Associated with the Fractional Fourier Transform

The secure transmission and storage of image is of great significance in the digital image security domain. In order to better protect digital image, this paper designs a chaotic image encryption algorithm based on transform domain. In proposed algorithm, the image in spatial domain is first transformed to frequency domain by using fractional Fourier transform (FRFT). Then scrambling and oblique tent chaotic mapping are able to change pixel positions and value of the image, which enhance encryption strength to achieve protect the information included in the image. Simulation and results are implemented and analyzed, which conclude that this algorithm has high security, high efficiency, and strong robustness. Moreover, the work in this paper will be studied deeply in the future.
